Golfe Juan charmant appartement garage proche mer

Accommodation by the sea near Vallauris Positive: The accommodation’s location near the lively part of Golfe Juan was lovely and the 10-minute walk to the nearest beaches was also all right. We certainly appreciated the size of the flat, the balconies on either side of the individual rooms and equipped bathroom. Negative: The handover of the keys (pick up and return) was almost comical these days by modern standards. What’s more, the young lady didn’t speak a word of English, so it was impossible to communicate about almost anything, not even using a translation app. But in the end, everything was sorted out. However, the apartment’s facilities certainly do not justify the price of the stay. The lack of Wi-Fi and, above all, air conditioning on hot summer days is problematic and another thing we definitely didn’t like was the condition of the electrical socket in the living room, which was in a critical and dangerous state. One of the photos in the gallery is also misleading, whilst you can see the sea in the distance from the balcony, you certainly can't see the harbor and the canal as clearly as shown in the photo. They aren’t there at all in fact :-)

Needs improvement Positive: Closed parking with garage which is included in price. Located in nice neighbourhood, close to shops and cafes. Good sized rooms. Communication is through the agency and they are very responsive Negative: Picture in the add with a balcony overlooking marina is misleading. There is no such view from this apartment. There is no air-conditioning, so we had to ask for an additional fan because it was impossible to cool down the rooms and kitchen. The flat is on the last floor so air-conditioning in necessary for a nice stay during summer months. Appliances and utensils are in working condition, but they are old and should be replaced. I am not fussy, but for the money we paid, I expected some standard. Single beds are uncomfortable, sofa bed in the living room is dirty, there is no wardrobe or drawers chest in the master bedroom so we had to keep all our clothes in the suitcases. Having club chairs and table set on one of the balconies would really be appreciated. The pictured white table is too large and we couldn't use it. This could be a very nice flat, but at this moment it looks tired and needs improvement, especially having in mind the price ...

Good location, close to the station and not a far distance from the beach. Positive: The proximity from the station has the beach was good. It was clean and well-equipped. Loved Golfe-Juan - a real gem of a French coastal town! Negative: The apartment was comfortable overall, but there were a few areas that could be improved. During our stay it was extremely hot, and while the fans were essential, air conditioning or better ventilation would have made a big difference, especially as there were no windows that could be opened. The lack of Wi-Fi was also inconvenient for travellers even though it is stated that there is no wifi at this property. Finding the correct apartment was confusing as the Booking.com listing did not provide clear details about the building or unit number. Check-in was more complicated than expected. Do take note of when check-in times are available.
